Huaylas Fiesta Calender
This calender only contains a small part of the festivals in the Callejon the Huaylas. The whole year long dancers and musicians from surrounding villages come down to the capital Huaraz to promote their local festivals. Often the main street Luzuriaga gets closed down while the procession moves towards the city hall on the Plaza de Armas. The sound of exploding fireworks will lead you the way.
